About two thousand years ago,
In a manger far, far away-
A baby was born,
On what is now Christmas Day.
But He was no ordinary baby,
He was special, you see-
For He came down from Heaven
To save you and me.
Born of a virgin,
The Word became Flesh,
Both fully human and fully divine-
The Greatest Gift of All
Will always be yours and always be mine.
